1972 Fender Jazz Bass in very good condition, original Sunburst finish, Maple neck and fingerboard with pearl block inlays. All stock & original other than the missing neck pickup cover and the nut. The serial number is: 346618. Weight: 8.8lbs. The neck on this bass is the slimmest I've seen on an early 70s Fender Jazz. It feels almost as slim as many of the pre CBS basses I have played.

This bass is very clean overall. There's an area of buckle rash that's worn the Sunburst through to the undercoat which runs around the lip of the contour and an area of arm wear on the front, with just a few spots around the edges of the body. There are also a few dings and scrapes around the edges of the body, mainly at the butt end of the bass. The back of the neck is in excellent shape with very little wear. The frets are in great shape.

The bass is set up nice and low with a smooth action. It has a great sound with a warm tone and plenty of growl. This is a great bass to play and very light, weighing only 8.8 lbs. It has a straight neck. All electronics and hardware work as they should. The pots & pickups date 1972. The pots are stamped, 39th week of 72.
