1979 Gibson Grabber, Natural gloss finish over Maple. Arrow-shaped heastock inspired by the flying V. Contoured body edge vaguely echoes the SG, its offset horns were clearly reminiscent of other popular makes, as was its bolt-on neck (4 bolt). The strings go through the body allowing for greater sustain and this bass definitely has that, along with a superb tone which can be heard in the sound file. It has a sliding humbucker giving you tonal options. Serial: 72869041. Weight: 9.3 lbs.

The body, neck and headstock are fairly clean with only a few small nick and dings. There's a very small area of buckle rashThe frets are in good shape having been cleaned and polished by my tech. No case but gig bag included.

Neck dimensions: Width: 1 & 5/8" at the nut , 2 & 1/8" at the 12th. Depth: 7/8ths at the nut and 1" at the 12th. The pots date to 76. This bass has been fully set up by my technician Chris Ward. Come and try it out at my showroom in Shoreditch London.
