1959/60 Gibson EB2 bass. Natural finish, non original case and pots. Everything else is original to the bass.

I've listed it as a 59/60 because the serial number indicates 1959 however most reference material I have read says that the tuners would have been banjo style through 59 and changed to Klusons in 1960, however there are no extra screw holes or other markings under the tuners so these are the originals.

Curly Maple body, arched front and back with binding which is intact. Rosewood fretboard with Pearl dots. The frets are in great shape. The back of the body has 9 small holes drilled into it ?? One is up by the strap button and was probably drilled to move the position of the strap, but the other 8?? Your guess is as good as mine, they appear in two clusters and I can't think why ?? The finish shows plenty of lacquer checking and wear. The back of the neck also shows a few marks. The headstock shows a few dings but everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs.

All the electronics and hardware are in good working order. The bass has been fully checked over and set up by my tech Chris Ward. Serial: A29635. Weight: 9 lbs.
