1979 Musicman Stingray in excellent condition. White finish, Black pickguard, Maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ, non epoxy preamp and through body stringing. There are a few scuffs and tiny dings to the finish but nothing major. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. All original and complete other than the case and missing string mutes.
The serial number is: B014115 Weight: 10lbs 13.5oz. The body date is March 1979, the neck April 1979. The pots all date to 79. The truss rod is fully working with plenty of room to move. The action is set nice and low. The frets are in excellent condition with very little wear.
This is an all round excellent bass, the sound is warm and punchy. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of strings and has a great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. Nut Width: 42.25 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20mm.
