1976-78 Fender Precision Bass in good + condition with an Olympic White finish and maple fingerboard. The neck has a slim nut (38.5mm). Supplied in a later Fender case. (The case is most likely from the 90s) It's fitted with a Baddass bridge, and the pickups have been changed. (Brand unknown. I have dated the bass 76-78 because whilst the serial number is from 1976, the pots date to 1978. Was the bass produced in 1978 with a leftover neck? Possibly...it is also possible that the body and neck are from 2 different basses or the pots were added later. They fit together perfectly, so it's a great playing bass either way.
This is a great Fender P-Bass with a straight neck and original frets, which are in excellent condition, showing very little wear. There are a few patches of wear along with small scuffs and dings in the finish, mainly around the edges of the body, but nothing major. The neck is pretty clean. The headstock has a few minor scuffs around the edge.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a medium/low action and is strung with a fresh set of La Bella nickel round-wound strings. Serial number: 7653161. Nut width: 38.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5 mm. Weight: 10 lbs 13 oz / 4.91 kg.
