1977 Fender Musicmaster Bass, Olympic White finish, maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. Serial: S721431. It has a new pickguard and a non-original case.
The body finish has a number of scuffs and a few large dings with some areas of finish missing. The neck is relatively clean with just a few small patches of wear. The headstock has scuffs and dings around the edges as well as lacquer checking. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The truss rod works correctly without issue. All electronics work and sound great. It has a great playing straight neck and the frets are in good condition.
Fully set up in our workshop with a medium-low action and a set of flatwound strings. The pots both date to the 45th week of 1976. Weight: 8 lbs 2 oz / 3.41 kg. Nut width: 41.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm.
