1975 Fender Jazz Bass, Sunburst finish with a Maple fingerboard and Pearl block inlays. Other than a rewound neck pickup and missing the metal covers this bass is all original and complete including the case.
The finish has a few minor scuffs and dings around the edges of the body with one larger patch of wear at the butt end. The neck is relatively clean. The headstock has a few scuffs and minor dings but nothing major. A small hairline stress crack in the wood is running from the middle of the E-string tuner post hole. All electronics and hardware are in good working order.
This bass sounds fantastic with a huge tone and plenty of punch. It has plenty of mojo and plays very well with a straight neck. Serial number:662742 Weight: 9lbs 3.5oz / 4.18 kg. The neck is too faded to read. The pots all date to mid-75. The sponge was completely stuck to the underside of both pickups making it hard to decipher the date stamps. Only one date is visible which is 1975. Fully set up in our workshop. Nut width: 39 mm. Depth: 22 mm.
