1974 Fender Jazz Bass with a see through Blonde finish over an Ash body. It's in very good condition and has a Maple fingerboard with pearl block inlays and Black binding. With the exception of a rewound back pickup its all original including the case and metal covers.
This is an excellent bass, with a nice slim neck. It has tons of tone and the growl is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with tons of top end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.
The body edges and headstock face show some wear but no major dings. The neck is very clean and the binding is all intact. The frets show only light wear and there's plenty of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight. Fully set up by my technician with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round wound strings and a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Two pots date to the 29th week and one to the 38th week of 74. Serial:504541. Weight: 9lbs 7.5oz. Nut Width: 37.45mm / depth at 1st fret:21.5 mm.
