1973 Fender Precision Bass. Beautiful Sunburst finish with a Tortoise shell pick guard and a Rosewood fingerboard. Nice and light weighing 8 lbs 5.5 oz. There are a few small scuff and dings on the body, mainly around the edges. The same applies for the neck and headstock but nothing major. Above all this bass plays and sounds great, it has a warm tone with plenty of thump. The pickup sponge had deteriorated badly so I scraped it off and replaced it with some foam. The metal pickup and bridge covers are missing. My tech re-soldered the pots as they had dry solder joints. Otherwise this bass is original including the case.
Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel strings by my technician allowing for a smooth playing action. All the electronics and hardware are in good working order. The truss rod works just fine.The frets are in good shape with very little wear having been cleaned and dressed. Serial number:393494. The pots date 5th week of 73, the neck stamp is March 73 B. The pickups date to 73. Great bass, don't miss out.
