1973 Fender Jazz bass, Sunburst finish in fair condition. Maple neck and fingerboard with Black block inlays and binding. This bass has rewound pickups, changed strap buttons and a non-original hard case. It's missing the metal pickup cover. The original bridge cover is included. I personally love these Maple neck Black block Jazz basses. I owned one for many years. This bass has tons of tone, the growl from this bass is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with tons of top end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.
The finish shows lots of play wear, with numerous chips and dings around the edges of the body and buckle rash on the back. The neck and headstock also have wear and some lacquer checking. The neck binding is all intact. The frets are in great shape having been dressed by my technician and there are years of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should.
Fully set up by my technician with a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Weight: 9 lbs 1.5 oz. Serial: 375722. Nut Width: 37.75 mm depth at 1st fret: 21.65 mm. The pots all date to mid 73.
