1972 Fender Jazz Bass, nitro re-finish in Surf Green. Hiscox hard shell case. Changed tone pot and capacitor. The metal covers look relatively new so my guess is they have been replaced. Otherwise original parts.
The refinish has been done well and has aged nicely. It has a fair amount of lacquer checking which looks really cool. There are a number of small dings around the edges. The frets are in great shape and the neck is straight, slim and plays beautifully. The tone is really punchy and rich.
Fully set up with a low action and fresh set of Rotosound Nickel strings. Weight 8 lbs 13 oz. Serial:360844. The volume pots date to the 18th week of 72. The neck stamp reads Apr 72 A. The pickups date to 72 and have original winds. Nut width: 37mm . Depth at the 1st fret: 22.35mm.
