1971 Fender Precision Bass in good condition. Sunburst finish, Maple fingerboard, Original case, reproduction Tortoise shell pickguard. There are a few small scuff and dings on the body, mainly around the edges. There is a little wear to the finish along the edges of the neck. Above all this bass plays and sounds great, it has a warm tone with plenty of thump. The metal pickup cover is missing. My tech re-soldered the pots as they had dry solder joints.
Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel strings by my technician allowing for a smooth playing action. All the electronics and hardware are in good working order. The truss rod works just fine. The frets are in good shape with very little wear having been cleaned and dressed. Serial number:318815. The pots date 16th week of 71, the neck stamp is 71 B. The pickups date to 71. Weight:9lbs 2.5oz. Nut width: 41.5mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm. Great bass, don't miss out.
