Stunning 1967 Gibson ES-335 TDC, in exceptionally good condition. Inside the Lifton case you will find the original owners invoice and purchase agreement (dated June 67) along with the case key and instruction sheets for the bridge and pickup adjustment. This is an all original and gorgeous example of a Gibson ES-335. A real time-capsule collectors guitar. 3-month warranty included.
The body features a beautiful rich cherry red finish stain and the cream binding is in very good shape front and back. You have to look very closely to find any imperfections at all on this guitar. Upon close inspection there are some extremely small marks along the top edge of the headstock and extremely light play wear to the body finish along with some faint lacquer checking. There are no breaks/cracks or repairs and everything remains structurally sound. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. All hardware & electronics are in excellent working order and the metalwork is still shiny. The binding is all intact.
This guitar has been fully checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-round excellent sounding and playing guitar. Set up with a low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically. Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5mm. Serial:864853.
