1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony finish. It's in good condition and aside from a refret and what look to be newer pickup covers, it's all original including the case. The refret is a clean and professional job with minimal disturbance to the fretboard - the new frets appear to be medium jumbo size. It has an ebony fretboard with block inlays and gold hardware including the original factory-fitted Grover tuners. It plays very well with a straight neck / low action and the truss rod works correctly. Original patent sticker pickups have that classic vintage Les Paul Custom tone. Tons of sustain........... Supplied with 3 months warranty and a 14-day returns policy
It has general playwear including some small dings, scuffs and buckle rash. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The binding has yellowed which is common on customs and there's wear to the gold plating on the hardware. It has pat number pickups and the pots (with visible dates) all date to the 44th week of 73.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop and is ready to go. Nut width: 43.2 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.8 mm. Serial: 170828. Weight: 9 lbs 14 oz / 4.48 kg.
