Late 1965 / Early '66 Fender Jazzmaster, Sunburst finish in good condition with original case. It has a beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard and a rosewood fingerboard with dots and binding. The bridge has been replaced with a Fender Mustang bridge but is otherwise all original and complete including the bridge cover. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
There are several scuffs & dings to the body finish, predominantly around the edge as well as some buckle rash. The back of the neck has a little light wear through the finish, mainly along the edges and a few small nicks and dings. The headstock has some lacquer checking as well as some fairly common scuffs and scrapes along the edges and some wear to the logo. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. All hardware and electronics are in good working order. There's some minor shrinkage to the pickguard but no cracks or issues. The frets have been cleaned and polished in our workshop and have very little wear with plenty of life in them. The truss rod works correctly and has room to move in both directions.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball 10-46 strings and a medium-low action. The neck is stamped NOV 65 B. Serial: 119185. The volume pot is dated to the 51st week of 64, and the tone pot, to the 45th week of 65. Both are original with untouched solder. Neither pickup has a visible pencil date. Weight 7lbs 12.5oz / 3.53 kg. Nut width: 41.8 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm.
