1969 Fender Telecaster in fair to good condition. Blonde finish with a white pickguard and a maple fingerboard. The fingerboard has been re-fretted, refinished and has a changed nut. 1966 Fender case, it may well have been sold with this case but impossible to know for sure. The case is pretty worn and we have repaired the interior with a pocket lid, neck rest and padding at the bottom end using material from another vintage Fender case. Otherwise original. 3-month warranty and 14-day returns policy included.
This Guitar has scuffs, chips and dings in the finish, mainly along the edges of the body with a larger patch of wear on the front bottom edge of the body. The back of the neck is in good shape, as is the headstock. The frets, being relatively new, have very few signs of wear. A previous owner wrote his name and number in the control cavity and on the back of the neck heel.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of strings and a low action. The neck is date-stamped AUG 69 B. Serial 252333. The pots are both dated, the 34th week of 1966. Weight 7lbs 13.5oz / 3.55 kg. Nut width: 41.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.5 mm. Pickup DC resistance: Neck 6.67k. Bridge 5.98k.
