From LaBella:
The Olinto is by far one of the most unique handmade boutique instruments on the planet. All Olinto basses have hand-carved necks, and hand-wound pickups. All of our basses use dual-acting truss rods to create an incredibly stable neck. We use artist-grade woods for each build. Each pickup is made by hand. We use the same “scatter wound” technique used in the 60s to reproduce a very authentic vintage sound that so many players look for. Mas Hino builds every bass. All finishes are mixed & done in-house with vintage-style nitro by James Carbonetti. Every Olinto bass is built in Brooklyn NY at “The Guitar Shop NYC”.
