1997 Fender Noel Redding Signature Jazz Bass - Sunburst finish in very good + condition. This “Crafted in Japan” limited edition Jazz Bass was designed to recreate the model played by Redding during his time with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. This one has been upgraded with Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz pickups. It is supplied in a moulded Fender hard case. Only 1000 of these basses were produced and this one is serial: 0808.
There are some very minor scuffs and tiny dings in the body finish, a couple on the back of the neck and some light scuffs around the edge of the headstock. The frets are in great shape with very little wear. The truss rod is fully functional and all hardware is in perfect working order. Overall it's in great condition.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of Ernie Ball roundwound strings. It weighs 9 lbs 5 oz / 4.22 kg. Nut width 40 mm, depth at 1st fret 21 mm. The neck is stamped June 97 and the body, July 97.
