Stunning 9.5/10 condition 1962 Fender Precision bass, all original and complete including the case. Sunburst finish in exceptionally clean condition, slab Rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. It has a fantastic neck with a superb playing action and amazing tone. The case is also in excellent condition and all latches are in good working order. Serial number: 67675. Weight: 8lbs 12.5oz. The body dates 1/62. The neck dates 12/61. The pots date to the 52nd week of 61. The pickups have black bobbins and original winds. The Sunburst finish is still incredibly vibrant. The only wear to speak of is a small patch on the front of the headstock a some matting to the finish around the edge of the body, most probably caused by a Fender body guard. There's also one extra screw hole where someone had moved the thumb-rest to the post 72 position (On the E string side, using the other pickguard screw hole for the 2nd screw)

This bass is a joy to play with a superb even sound right across the fretboard, it has a straight neck, and the truss rod works as it should. The frets are in great condition. (presumably this bass has been strung with flats for most or all of its life) It's been fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound flat wound 45-105 strings and has superb playing action. The neck is wide and slim in depth. Nut width: 43.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20.05mm. The pickup signal is nice and strong measuring 11.5 Kohms.
