1972 Gibson ES355 Stereo, Cherry Red finish and Gold hardware. Excellent condition and all original with the exception of a professionally reset neck. Stereo lead and original case included. It has Gibson logo gold pickup covers, waffle back tuners, Bigsby, and the original guard which is deteriorated, but in the case. It has some light laquer checking to the finish. Notable users of this guitar is Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Keith Richards.

The ES-355TD-SV was at the top of Gibson's range of thin line semi hollow guitars. It comes equipped with stereo wiring to permit separate treble and bass response through two separate amplifiers or individual channels on a singular amplifier. This tonal division offers numerous tonal capabilities when intermixed with the varitone control.

The neck has 22 frets and a 24 3/4" Scale Length. The body is 16" Wide - 19" Long - 1 3/4" Deep. The headstock has a split-diamond inlay, binding on the headstock, fretboard and both the front and the back edges of the body. Laminated neck joins body at 20th fret,Ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl inlays. Factory electronics with a stereo output and Varitone. Stock pickups, and original clean frets. In 1972 the ES-355TD-SV was in Gibson's "guitar of the month" showcase series -after ending regular production in 1970. The 355 was structurally unchanged in design with a maple top and solid center block.

This guitar has been fully set up by my technician. It weighs 9lbs, serial: 773997. Nut width 40mm.
