1961 Gibson ES-125T in excellent condition. Serial:26361. Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, dot position inlays and nickel hardware. Neck re-set in 2006 by Elderly Instruments, USA. It's a lovely job providing many more years of life for this wonderful guitar. In addition, the top part of the bridge was replaced. Otherwise original guitar. Supplied in the original chipboard case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The ES-125T is a lightweight, lively-sounding guitar both acoustically and plugged in. It's fitted with a powerful P-90 single coil pick-up which has the classic vintage Gibson P-90 tone.
The finish is in excellent condition with only a few very small dings and the colour is still very vibrant. The back of the neck has lacquer checking and a couple of small dings. The headstock has a few small dings and scuffs around the edges but everything remains structurally sound with no issues.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Nickel D'Addario 10-46 strings and low action. Weight 4lbs 15.5oz / 2.25 kg. Serial 26361. Nut width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.8 mm.
