1964 Gibson ES-330 TD in excellent + condition. Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and nickel hardware. It has a new nut and the previous owner said he was told when he bought the guitar, that it had been re-fretted, but it's very difficult to tell. The new nut has been very professionally fitted and looks great. It comes in a non-original case. Other than that this Guitar is all original. 3-month warranty and 14-day returns policy included.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively-sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups, which are nicely balanced. This example has very little wear, with just a few minor dings and scuffs around the edges of the body but nothing major. The neck is extremely clean with just a couple of tiny dings. The headstock has a few scuffs and dings along the top edge. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. The hardware and electronics are in excellent condition. Minor warpage to the pickguard but overall The plastics are in great condition.
This guitar has been set up by our technician with a fresh set of strings and low action. The pots are all correct with unbroken solder. They date to '63 but the week is unreadable due to being covered in solder. The pickups are nicely balanced with a lovely warm tone from the neck pickup and a crisp bite from the bridge. Weight 6 lbs 4 oz / 2.83 kg. Serial 181991. Nut width: 42.5mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.8 mm.
