This is a very early 1965 Fender Precision Bass with a Candy Apple red finish over an Alder body. It has a wide and slim C profile Maple neck with a beautiful dark Rosewood fingerboard which has a 7.25" radius. All original including the case.

This bass has plenty of mojo and plays great, it has straight neck with clay dots on the fingerboard and original frets which are in great shape with minimal wear. As you can see this bass has lots of play wear & checking to the finish. There is s small crack in the tip of the pickguard by the output jack. A substantial amount of finish has worn off the bottom edge on the back of the back.

The neck dates Jan 1965, all pots date to 64. The pickups have Black bobbins and original winds. Original hard case included. Serial number:L62152, weight: 8lbs 10oz. Fully set up by my technician. Neck dimensions, Nut width:1.762" depth: 0.812" 12th fret width:2.251" depth: 0.968" The pickup reads: 10.60 K
