1983 Fender Elite Precision Bass I with a natural finish over an ash body. Near-mint 9.75/10 condition. Aside from the strap locks, it's 100% original and complete with untouched solder. It even comes supplied with an extremely rare, brown w/gold trim flight case. These cases are much more heavy-duty than the standard case supplied by Fender at the time. It has a wide C profile Maple neck with a beautiful rosewood fingerboard which has a 7.25" radius.
This is a great Fender bass with a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition showing very little wear. The only imperfections I can find on this bass are 1 scuff in the finish running along the bottom of the arm contour on the front and a couple of small dings around the edge of the headstock. The back of the neck has very minor signs of use.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a set of Elite Stadium 45-105 round wound strings. The neck is stamped May 19 1983. The visible pot date stamp reads 1378315 (15th week of 83) Serial number: E313407, weight: 11 lbs 13.5 oz / 5.09kg. Nut width:45 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5mm.
