1980 Music Man Sabre bass in excellent + condition. Inca Silver Refinish with a maple neck and fretboard. Black pickguard, 2 band EQ, Contoured body, 2 humbucking pickups, internal micro powered pre-amp, brightness + phase in/out and pickup selector switches. It has one changed pot, a new output jack and a new mute pad kit. Supplied in an aftermarket tweed case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The body and neck are in excellent + condition with very little wear. The headstock is also clean with just a few small scuffs on the top edge. The neck date is July 19 1979 and the body date is Feb 12 1980. The 2 original pots are dated to mid '79. The frets are in great shape with hardly any wear and plenty of life left in them. The truss rod is fully operational with plenty of room to move. The neck is straight and plays smoothly.
This bass has been fully checked over and set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'Addario flatwound strings. Serial number: C005618. Weight: 10 lbs 8 oz/ 4.78 kg Nut width: 42.7 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 19.3 mm.
