1976 Fender Precision Bass, in very good condition with a Sunburst finish over an Alder body. It's nice and light weighing 8 lbs 9.5 oz. The covers are newer replacements and theres a couple of extra grounding wires and some touched up solder on the pots harness. It's also missing the thumb rest. Other than that this bass is all original and complete including the case.
This is a great Fender P-Bass with a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition showing very little wear. There are a number of small scuffs and dings around the edges of the body and headstock but overall it's clean. There's also a small surface only split in the wood coming from one corner screw of the E string tuner back plate. It's unlikely to get any worse unless of course, you over tighten the screw!
This bass has been fully set up with a low action and a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round-wound strings. The pots date to the 18th week of 76, the pickups are stamped 76 and have original winds and strong output. Serial number: 76 52847 , weight: 8lbs 9.5oz. Neck dimensions, Nut width:41mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.5mm.
