1974 Fender Jazz Bass with a Sunburst finish in good condition. Maple neck and fingerboard, pearl block inlays and white binding. All original and complete with the exception of the new chrome pickup cover, the solder on the volume pots and a rewound bridge pickup.
This is an excellent bass, it has tons of growl and the tone is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with loads of top-end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.
The finish has a fair amount of playwear with quite a few scuffs and dings to the body finish, mainly around the edges. The headstock also has a few scuffs around the edges. There is a small ding on the edge of the fingerboard binding (between the nut and the 1st fret) otherwise the binding is all intact. The frets have very little wear. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.
Fully set up in our workshop with a low action giving great playability. The pots all date to mid 74 Serial:537275. The pickups and neck stamp date to 74. Weight: 9 lbs 1 oz. Nut Width: 38 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22mm. 3-month warranty included.
