1973 Fender Precision Bass, with a Sunburst finish and Black pickguard. It's nice and light, weighing 8 lbs 13 oz / 4 kg. Supplied in a non-original case
Great straight neck and clean frets in excellent condition with very little wear. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. The body has lots of bumps and scrapes with many of these areas touched up with black paint. There also appears to be a clear lacquer overspray on the body. The back of the neck and headstock also have a lacquer overspray. The pickguard was cracked in various places so we have replaced it with a reproduction. One half of the pickup (for the D & G strings) has been rewound. The first 4 frets have been replaced.
Fully set up by my technician with good action giving great playability. It has been strung with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round wound strings. Serial:411633. The pot's date to the 43rd week of 1973. The pickups date to 73. The neck date code is the 47th week of 71. Nut width: 41 mm. Depth at the 1st fret: 21.4 mm.
