1972 Fender Precision Bass with a Lake Placid Blue finish, in as close to mint condition as you will see. Serial:367820. It's extremely light weighing only 8 lbs / 3.62 kg. There has been some sanding been done in the neck pocket which has taken away some finish but the factory stamps are still present. Otherwise all original and complete, including the case. As you can see the finish is incredibly vibrant. You have to look really close to see any imperfections. Exceptionally clean. The neck and headstock are entirely free of wear. It's an all round excellent bass, a joy to play and sounds incredible.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop and is strung with a set of D'Addario round-wound strings and low action. The neck is date stamped June 72 B. Both pots are stamped 304 7205, dating them to the 5th week of '72. The pickups have original winds and both halves date to '72. Weight: 8 lbs / 3.62 kg. Nut width: 40.5mm, depth at 1st fret 21.8 mm.
