1969 Gibson EB3, Cherry

1969 Gibson EB3 bass guitar in very good condition. It's all original including the case.

There are a few small scuffs and dings around the edges of the body and some dings around the edges of the headstock. There's a larger ding along the back bottom edge by the control cavity which has caused a hairline crack in the wood. * see pics * there's no movement in it so I'm confident it's stable. The back of the neck has a small chip in the finish which is about the size of a 5-pence piece.  There are also a couple of extra holes on either side of the bridge where someone has either accidentally or deliberately re-positioned the bridge cover/ palm rest.

The Cherry finish is still vibrant overall. This is a fantastic bass with a great action allowing for smooth playability up and down the neck. The frets are in excellent shape, the neck is straight with no issues and the truss rod has plenty of room to move. All electronics and hardware are in good working order.

It's been fully set up in our workshop.  It has a big thumping sound. Jack Bruce eat your heart out. Serial No. 893385.  Weight:7 lbs 8 oz. Nut width:38.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm. 3-month warranty included.

Condition Very good 8.25/10
Case OHSC
Weight 7 lbs 8 oz
