1967 Fender Jazz Bass with a Sunburst finish in fair-good condition. Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and White binding. It has a tortoiseshell guard and lollipop tuners. This bass is all original and complete including the case.
This is an excellent bass, with a nice slim neck. It's a great player with a superb even sound right across the fretboard. This bass has tons of tone and the growl is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with loads of top-end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.
The body finish has play wear with a few larger scuffs & dings around the edges, some buckle rash and some lacquer checking. The neck finish is worn leaving a very smooth feel in the hand. The frets are very clean having been dressed in our workshop and have plenty of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.
Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound round-wound nickel strings and a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Serial 176255. Weight 9 lbs. Nut Width 37.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 21 mm. The pickups have original winds and handwritten dates (both January 17th 1967) The pots are all dated to the 13th week of 66. 3-month warranty included.
