1965 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition with a Sunburst finish over an Alder body. It has a wide C profile Maple neck with a beautifully figured dark Rosewood fingerboard which has a 7.25" radius and pearl dots. It's nice and light weighing 8lbs 11.5oz. I resoldered one eyelet the connecting cloth wire between the two halves of the pickups as it was close to breaking, otherwise, the Bass is all original and complete including the case.
This is a great Fender with a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition showing virtual no wear. There are a number of small scuffs and dings around the edges of the body but overall very clean. The neck and headstock are equally as clean. The pickguard is intact with no cracks and very little shrinkage.
This bass has been fully set up with a fresh set of D'addario flat wound strings. The neck date is April 1965 C, both pots date to the 12th week 65, the pickups have original winds and strong output. Serial number: L87097, weight: 8lbs 11.5oz. Neck dimensions, Nut width:44mm depth at 1st fret: 21.5mm.
