1963 Fender Precision Bass, with a body only refinish in olympic white. It has tortoise-shell guard with no cracks or breaks and a rosewood fingerboard. The pickups have been rewound in house to vintage spec, the volume pots is changed and dates to 1966. The tone is original and dates to the 9th week of 63. It comes supplied with a '90s Fender moulded case.
The body finish has a few scuffs and bruises, mainly around the edges. The original Sunburst finish is still present ion the neck pocket and 2 of the nail holes are still visible along with the router hump, all of which verifies the body. The finish on the back of the neck is in excellent condition with only very light wear and theres a few small dings in the headstock. The frets are in great shape having been dressed in our workshop.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of flat-wound strings and has a straight neck and a great action. Serial:63997. The neck date reads OCT 63 C. Nut width: 44 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.2 mm. Weight: 9 lbs 2 oz.
