1963 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition with a Sonic Blue refinish over an Alder body. It has a wide C profile Maple neck, a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius and clay dots. It weighs 9lbs / 4.08kg Serial: L11772. It's missing the metal covers. With the exception of the finish and the pots, it's all original. Supplied in a period correct case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
This is a fantastic playing and sounding instrument, it has a chunky neck which is straight and plays smoothly. The original frets are in good condition having been dressed in our workshop. The finish on the body is mostly free from wear with just a couple of small scuffs and dings. There are a few small scuffs and signs of playwear on the back of the neck but nothing major. The headstock is generally clean with only a few small scuffs along the top edge.
This bass has been fully set up with a set of flat-wound strings. The neck date is Oct 63 C. The pickups have Black bobbins and original winds. All-around fantastic bass. Nut width: 44 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.4 mm. Pickup DC resistance: 11.11k.
