1980 Music Man Sabre bass in excellent condition. This bass has a rare, slim nut width measuring only 37.8 mm. (standard width is closer to 43mm). There's light wear to the body finish and a couple of small scuffs at the tip of the headstock. The fretboard and frets are in excellent condition, as is the back of the neck. 

 It has a black pickguard, a 2-band EQ, 2 humbucking pickups, an internal micro-powered pre-amp with brightness + phase in/out and pickup selector switches. A couple of wires have been changed on the controls but otherwise all original and complete including the case.  

This bass has been fully checked over and set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'Addario flatwound strings. The neck date is Jan 16th 1980. The body date is Jan 26th 1980. The pots all date to  mid-79. Serial number: C005551. Weight: 9 lbs 13.5 oz / 4.47 kg. Nut width: 37.8 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.4 mm.
