1972 Fender Precision Bass with a rare A-width neck. (38 mm at the nut). The bass is in good condition. Changed guard and possibly changed nut. It's nice and light, weighing 8 lbs 8.5 oz / 3.86 kg.
This is a great Fender P-Bass with a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition showing very little wear. The finish has a few dings, particularly along the bottom edge, some of which have been touched up. There are also a number of scuffs. The back of the neck and headstock are fairly clean overall with only light wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. All hardware and electronics are in good working order including the truss rod.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a set of D'Addario roundwound strings and low action. Feb 72 neck date, 18th week of 72 pots, 72 dated pickups. Serial number: 360498. Nut width: 38 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.8 mm.
