1977 Rickenbacker 4001 with a White finish. All original other than the case. Serial number: QH 3443 . (Aug 1977) The finish has very little play wear with only a few small scuffs/dings and it has yellowed a little in places, particularly on the back of the body. The metalwork is still shiny. All-round lovely bass.
Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round-wound strings and a lovely, medium-low playing action. The truss rods work as they should and the neck is straight. The frets are in great shape with only minimal wear and have been clean and polished. All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues. The Pickups, pots and hardware are all original. The pots date to mid-1976. Weight 9lbs 11oz. Nut width 41.65mm. Depth at 1st fret 23.75mm. Supplied with a 3-month warranty.
