1970 Gibson ES-335 TDC, in exceptionally good condition. Serial: 960446. Weight: 7 lbs 14.5 oz / 3.59 kg. It appears to have been refretted and also has a changed nut. Otherwise an all-original, gorgeous example of a Gibson ES-335. It comes with the original case and includes 3-months warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The body features a beautiful cherry red finish which remains incredibly vibrant. The cream binding is in very good shape front and back. There's only some very light play-wear to the body finish. The back of the neck is equally clean with just one or two dings. The headstock has a few minor bumps and scrapes along the top edge but nothing major. There are no breaks/cracks or repairs and everything remains structurally sound. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. All hardware & electronics are in excellent working order and the metalwork is still shiny.
This 335 retains the orange label and has chrome-plated hardware including the Tune-O-Matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and two Gibson humbucking pickups with patent number stickers.
Fully checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-round excellent sounding and playing guitar. The playability is excellent with low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically. Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.4 mm. The pots are all correct CTS 500K with untouched solder but no dates are visible due to being covered in solder.
