1968 Gibson ES-330 TD. Sunburst finish in excellent condition, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and chrome hardware. It is all original aside from the '70s Gibson case. This is the long neck version that joins the body at the 19th fret. This is preferable for ES 335 players that want easier access to upper register of the fretboard. Scale length remains the same 24.75” All features are consistent with previous years except the heel joint location to the neck.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced. This example has a few small dings and scuffs on the back of the neck and headstock but nothing major and everything remains structurally sound with no breaks/repairs. The body finish is in great shape with only a few tiny dings and some light lacquer checking. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in the workshop.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie ball strings and a low action. Weight 6lbs. Serial 942967. Nut width: 40mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.4mm. Depth at the 12th fret 25.3 mm. 3-month warranty included.
