1967 Gibson ES-330 TD in excellent + condition. Sparkling Burgundy Metallic finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and chrome hardware. It's all original aside from the '70s Gibson case. The back of the headstock has the "Second" stamp below the serial indicating the factory deemed it to have a finish flaw at the time. Given that this guitar is over 50 years old there's no way of knowing where the flaw in the finish was.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single-coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced. This example has very little wear. The only things to note are a few light marks on the back of the neck and around the lower edges of the headstock ( just above the nut) where it's been kept either on a wall hanger or stand. The body finish on the front has faded but is in great shape with only a few small marks. The finish on the back of the body still retains its original colour. The frets are in excellent condition having been dressed in our workshop.
This guitar has been set up by our technician with a fresh set of strings and low action. Weight 5lbs 15oz. Serial 050947. Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.4mm. Depth at 12th fret 25 mm. 3-month warranty included.
