1967/68 Vox Ultrasonic in excellent condition. It has a cherry finish and a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Supplied in the original Vox hard case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The body has a few small dings, mainly around the edges. The neck is clean and straight. The headstock has a couple of small scuffs & tiny dings. The frets are in great condition having been dressed in our workshop. The fingerboard has a little wear but nothing major. This guitar has been set up in our workshop with med/low action. Weight 7 lbs 14 oz / 3.58 kg. Serial:406862. Nut width: 41.6 mm. Depth at 21st fret: 20.2 mm.
Made in Italy for only 2 years ( 67 & 68) these guitars are very rare, especially in such good condition. It has all the great vox effects from the era built into the guitar, E-tuner (plays a quiet E note), treble/bass boost, distortion (mild overdrive to full-blown 60s fuzz), repeater, and a palm-operated wah-wah pedal. They are powered by a 9V battery accessible through a circular cover under the pad at the rear of the body. It also has a Bigsby-style Vox tremelo arm.
