1965 Epiphone Casino E230TD, Sunburst finish. The tailpiece looks very shiny and new so I suspect it has been replaced, although i'm not certain. It comes in a modern Epiphone hard case. Otherwise all original. Serial: 360056. Weight: 6lbs 4oz. Nut width: 40.3 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5 mm. Depth at 12th fret: 25 mm.
The finish on the front of the body is in great shape with only a few very small scuffs/dings. The finish on the back of the back of the body has some disturbance and flaking to the top coat, particularly around the edges which could be due to moisture. The frets are in great shape and all hardware & electronics are in excellent working order. The binding has yellowed but is all intact. The headstock has scuffs and wear around the edges. There is lacquer crazing throughout the back of the neck and headstock. There are no breaks or repairs. Everything remains structurally sound.
This guitar has been fully checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-round excellent sounding and playing guitar. Set up with a low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically.
