1962 Gibson ES-330 TDC in very good condition. Cherry red finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and nickel hardware. All original guitar with hang tags. It comes in a period correct chipboard case.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced. This example has a few small dings and scuffs around the headstock and on the back of the neck. The body finish is in great shape with a couple of patches of noticeable wear on the front and very minor play wear on the edges and back. The cherry finish remains very vibrant. The frets are in good condition with only minimal wear.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of strings and low action. The pots date to early 62, the black beauty caps are present and the solder is untouched. Weight 5lb 9oz. Serial 54775. Nut width: 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.8 mm. 3-month warranty included.
