1962 Gibson ES-125 TCD in excellent condition. Serial:74799. Cherry Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, dot position inlays and nickel hardware. Neck re-set and re-fretted by Manchester Music Mill. In addition 1 row of tuners has been changed. Gibson tuners from mid 1960-63 should have Kluson Deluxe in a single line, one strip has the double line version which dates them to 64-69. Supplied in a non original case. Otherwise original guitar. The ES-125 TDC is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar both acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with 2 powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced and are warm and round with classic vintage Gibson P-90 tone. TDC stands for Thin body, Double P-90 pickups, cutaway. A very versatile guitar.
The finish is in excellent condition with only a few very small dings and the colour is still very vibrant. The back of the neck is neck is equally clean, the headstock does have a few dings around the edges but everything remains structurally sound with no issues.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Nickel D'Addario 10-46 strings and low action. Weight 5lbs 3oz. Serial 74799. Nut width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21 mm.
