1969 Gibson ES-335 TDC, in good + condition. Serial: 536218. Weight: 7 lbs 11.5 oz / 3.5 kg. Includes a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy. Supplied in a Gator case. The switch tip is not original and the pickup covers have been off at some point as the solder has been broken, although I see no evidence of a rewind.
The body features a beautiful cherry red finish stain and the cream binding is in very good shape front and back. There's light play-wear to the body finish, including some small dings here and there as well as a couple of scuffs/scratches on the front of the body, but overall it's in good condition. The back of the neck has a few small dings and scuffs. The headstock has a few dings, mainly along the top edge but nothing major. There are no breaks/cracks or repairs and everything remains structurally sound. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. All hardware & electronics are in excellent working order and the metalwork is still shiny.
This guitar has been thoroughly checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-around excellent sounding and playing guitar. The playability is excellent with low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically. Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.2 mm.
