1969 Gibson EB2D with a "Tea Burst" finish in very condition. All original including the case and string mute mechanism. (the lining of the case has been replaced)
There are a few small scuffs around the edges of the body and a couple of small patches of buckle rash on the back. The neck and headstock also have some scuffs/dings and finish wear. The binding is fully intact and in great shape as are the frets. The neck is straight and has no issues. Everything remains structurally sound.
The EB2D has a powerful Gibson humbucking pickup at the neck position and mini-humbucker by the bridge with separate tone and volume controls + Baritone switch. 30 1/2 inch scale. The EB2D has a Maple body with a central tone block, Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a set or round-wound strings. The truss rod works as it should. All-round excellent bass. Serial number:818040. Weight:9lbs 3.5oz. Nut width: 38.3 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.45 mm.
