1972 Fender Jazz bass in good condition. Sunburst finish, rosewood fingerboard, Tortoiseshell guard. Both pickups have been rewound to original spec by Lee Lavarack of Toltec Guitars in Leeds. Otherwise all original including the case. It comes with 3-months warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The finish on the body has numerous dings & scuffs around the edges ( particularly the bottom edge). The neck and headstock also have a few marks here and there. The frets have been dressed in our workshop and are now clean and in great shape with lots of life left in them. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs.
This bass is a joy to play with a superb even sound right across the fretboard. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of nickel Rotosound round-wound strings and sounds amazing. Weight 8 lbs 15.5 oz. Serial: 375178. The pots all date to the 39th week of 72. The neck is dated Nov '72. Nut Width: 37.8 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.6 mm.
