1965 Fender Jazzmaster, Sunburst finish in excellent + condition. It has a beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard and rosewood fingerboard. The nut has been changed and it's missing the metal bridge saddle cover, otherwise all original and complete including the case.
There are a few small scuffs and chips to the finish along the edges of the body. The frets have very little wear. The back of the neck and headstock have light lacquer checking in the finish and some light scuffs and dings around the edges but nothing major.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of strings and a low action. The neck is stamped Aug 65 B. Serial 104053. The volume pot is dated to mid 65, the tone pot to mid 64. Both are original with untouched solder. Both pickups are original with original windings. Only the neck pickup date is visible. (November 65) Weight 8lbs 2oz. Nut width: 41.9 mm.
