1962 Fender Jazz Bass with the original Sunburst finish in excellent condition. Slab rosewood fingerboard with clay dots and a Tortoiseshell guard. All Original down to the last screw, with the exception of the solder on the neck pickup. Due to a broken solder joint we re-soldered the eyelets in our workshop. Original case included. The original string mutes are also included and are in the case.
There is very little wear to the finish on the front, a few small dings around the edges and some buckle rash on the back. It has a fantastic, clean neck with only light playwear. The headstock is also clean with minimal wear. The frets are in great shape with very little wear and have been cleaned and polished in our workshop.
This bass is a joy to play with a superb even sound right across the fretboard and strong vibrant output from the pickups, the neck is slim at the nut, and there's tons of room in the truss rod. It's been fully set up with a set of flat-wound strings and sounds amazing. Weight 9 lbs 3 oz. Serial: 78776. The neck date is May 62A, the pots all date to the 18th week of 62. Nut Width: 38.35mm. Depth at 1st fret: 19.85 mm. 3-month warranty included.
