1969 Fender Champ in excellent condition. This amp is 110V and comes supplied with a new step-down transformer. This little silverface-era Fender amp delivers five watts of pure tube tone through its original 6" Oxford speaker which was recently re-coned. It has a sparkling clean tone which goes into lightly compressed overdrive once the volume is pushed beyond 5/6. There are only very light signs of wear to the tolex. The grill cloth has no tears and is in excellent shape.
The amp was fully serviced in late October 2020 by Mac Amplification in Leeds. It's had a 3 pin power cord fitted and the death cap removed. The pots have been cleaned and lubricated. All the valve bases have also been cleaned and re-tensioned. All components have been checked for tolerance and the valves tested.
The original transformers date to 10th and 11th week of 69. The pots are stamped 137-6910 (10th week of 69). The tube chart stamp is not visible. Serial: A17111. Weight: 8.35kg.
